1967

In The Year 1967 Mr. Jayantilal Gala laid the foundation of International Industrial Springs in the Industrial Belt of Thane City. He along with his Team started manufacturing of Disc Springs & Washers on a small scale.

1999

Mr Sumit J Gala, Son of Mr. Jayantilal Gala Joined the Business with a Vision of Becoming the largest Spring Manufacturers in the Asia Pacific. He Introduce CNC Machinery for the first time to boost the productivity.

2001

With the Dynamic Leadership of Mr. Sumit Gala, IIS Started to emerge as a major supplier of Disc Springs & Belleville Washer in the India Market.

2004

Started a New unit of 15000 sq ft area to act as Company Head Quarters to handle all the operations. Along with that IIS started to build up a stock of entire range of Plain Disc Springs for Preloading Ball Bearing washers, Serrated Safety washers & Wave washers.

2005

IIS started Expansion of Business to the International Markets, with the export of Disc Springs, Belleville Washers and other washers to North America & European Continents.

2007

Developed products in exotic materials like Inconel, Nimonic and 17-7PH, H13 etc.

2008

Installed 300 ton hydraulic press, increased stamping capacity up to 400 mm Outer dia. and 12 mm thickness. In addition to this successfully supplied Disc Springs for Nuclear Application with Outer diameter 635 mm.

2009

Introduced a new product Wedge locking washers in the brand name of “Lock-Rite Washer” Added additional Heat Treatment capacity by installing Austempering Furnace line.

2010

Started in-house Laboratory for chemical, physical, Microstructure and failure analysis.

2011

Got approved by INDIA Railways for Lock-Rite washer after successful trials.

2013

Successfully Conducted an Independent test for Lock-Rite Washers^© at BOLT Science, UK. Installed a Fully Automated progressive stamping unit of Lock-Rite Washers^© with monthly production of 200k pieces.
